Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct flow assurance analyses including hydrate formation, wax deposition, corrosion, erosion, and scaling.
  • Perform simulations and modeling using specialized flow assurance software tools.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to prevent flow-related operational disruptions.
  • Collaborate with process, pipeline, and production engineers to optimize the design and operation of facilities.
  • Provide technical support during project design, construction, and operation phases.
  • Prepare reports, risk assessments, and recommendations related to flow assurance.
  • Stay updated with latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices in flow assurance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in flow assurance engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in flow assurance simulation software such as OLGA, PIPESIM, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of multiphase flow dynamics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Experience with hydrate, wax, corrosion, and scale management techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to flow assurance is preferred.
