Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1 Teaching the courses assigned by the Head of Department, preparing and development of related learning materials and keeping his/her course portfolio.

2 Guide, lead and supervise of students in research projects and provide personal tutoring on theoretical and practical aspects of the course.

3 Evaluate, monitor and keep records of students' results, achievements, activities and attendance.

4 Making of exam papers and other necessary assessments, conducting examinations and invigilation duties, marking of assessments and reviewing the results in complaince with the College's academic policies and procedures.

5 Contribute in design, development and implementation of high quality curriculum.

6 Supervision of practical training or internship programs as part of the curriculum, presenting reports on student's academic progress.

7 Prepare and submit semester reports.

8 Contribute to the department's operational and actions plans.

9 Serve and support the functional activities of the College committees or other voluntary activities.

10 Contribute to research and scholarly activities by producing publications and presenting research outcomes at conferences.

11 Contribute to community and industry engagement activities.

12 Participate in meetings, activities, seminars and workshops arranged by the department or the College.

13 Contribute to accreditations, submit documents as may be required by the QAD.

14 Supervise and support assistant lecturers.

15 Assist and support the HoD, ADAA or the Dean by carrying out any other task as assigned to them.
