Roles & Responsibilities
Manages and schedules maintenance tasks, supervises the maintenance team, and ensures all equipment and systems are functioning properly. Oversees repairs, preventive maintenance, and responds to urgent issues to maintain optimal facility performance.

Manages and schedules maintenance tasks, supervises the maintenance team, and ensures all equipment and systems are functioning properly. Oversees repairs, preventive maintenance, and responds to urgent issues to maintain optimal facility performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Conduct inspections of food establishments, manufacturing plants, storage facilities, and distribution centers.
- Collect food, water, and environmental samples for laboratory testing.
- Enforce compliance with national and local food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, FDA standards).
- Investigate complaints and incidents related to foodborne illness, contamination, or adulteration.
- Monitor labeling, packaging, and food handling procedures to ensure accuracy and hygiene.
- Provide guidance and training to food business operators on sanitation, hygiene, and safe food practices.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, compliance notices, and legal documentation where necessary.
- Coordinate with laboratories, public health authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on current food safety laws, emerging hazards, and best practices.
- Certification or training in food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety legislation, inspection procedures, and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a regulatory team.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field is a Must
