Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor sanitation and hygiene programs in line with FSSC, NFSA and clients requirements.
Supervise daily cleaning and sanitation activities within the production areas, warehouses, and utilities.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning tools and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Investigate and report any hygiene-related nonconformities and recommend corrective actions.
Provide training and awareness sessions for staff on hygiene and sanitation best practices.
Coordinate with Production, QA, and Admin teams to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
Ensure proper documentation of sanitation activities and prepare reports for internal and external audits.
Support in pest control monitoring and corrective action plans when needed.
Continuously review and improve sanitation procedures to reduce risks of contamination.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective training and collaboration.
- Ability to conduct audits and inspections in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to respond quickly to food safety issues.
- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
