Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure that staff work as a team to guarantee optimal service and that guests' needs are met.
Inspect the personal hygiene and clothing of the staff and rectify any deficiencies.
Perform opening and closing tasks, such as organizing necessary supplies and instruments, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
Inspect the organization, cleaning and use of the FIFO method in the storage areas.
Complete scheduled inventories and stock and order necessary supplies.
Control the availability of seats, service, safety and the well-being of guests in the dining areas.
Prepare work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management in the recruitment, training, organization, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees; and serve as an example and first point of contact for the "Fair Treatment Guarantee and Open Door Policy" process.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure that both the uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional.
Maintain the privacy of company-owned information; protect its assets.
Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
To support the team in achieving common goals.
Meet expectations and quality assurance standards.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds (22.50 kg) or their equivalent without assistance.
Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or for the entire work shift.
Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print).
Visually inspect tools, equipment or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
Grasping, turning and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, which requires fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination.
Reaching above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, crawling, and stooping.
Moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Going up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
To welcome and recognize all guests in accordance with company standards.
Speak to others using clear and professional language; answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette.
Listen to and respond appropriately to the problems of other employees.
Speak to other people using clear and professional language.
Perform other reasonable work tasks requested by your supervisors.
Desired Candidate Profile
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
Related work experience n:
At least 2 years of related work experience.
Experience as a supervisor:
At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
License or certification:
None
