Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The SAP NetWeaver ABAP/Fiori Developer will work with project and infrastructure teams to implement and support SAP related projects utilizing SAP ECC and SAP S4HANA. This includes FI, CO, PM/MM and HR (PA/PD/ESS/MSS) modules. Work experience in Oil & Gas Industry is preferable.
This person will be responsible for ABAP development for various on-going implementation projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management.
• Work with project and internal team members to help in creating well defined functional and technical specifications for development objects.
• Develop ABAP technical objects (Reports, Data Transfer Programs, Enhancements) from the given specification documents in efficient and timely manner.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing SAP applications.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience where at least 1 year of experience is with S/4 HANA plus one year of Fiori Development.
• Development experience in areas of S/4 HANA ABAP 7.5, OO ABAP, User exists, Business Add Ins, Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit), BTE, BRF+, BOPF and/or Adobe Forms
• Experience with ABAP on HANA covering any of CDS views, OData services and Integration experience with different Cloud and On Prem systems.
• Experience with ABAP Cloud elements must have clear understanding of RAP, and optionally ADT, CDS.
• Designing and building applications consistent with the SAP Fiori Application Architecture, including SAP application templates (e.g.: Worklist, Master-Detail), Smart Controls, Smart Templates, Fragments and Themes.
• Implementing standard Fiori applications (transactional, factsheet and analytical) and enhancing standard applications using enhancement framework
• Designing & modeling OData services using the Gateway Service Builder
• Fielding applications within existing application Launchpad environments
• Experience with traditional ABAP technologies is desirable such as RFCs, IDocs, Traditional and Web Dynpros, SQL.
• Experience in one or more of SAP FICO, PM/MM, HR, EHSM module required.
• Full life cycle experience required, including design, installation, implementation, and support.
• Extensive experience of ABAP Test cockpit and Code Inspector tools is required. Developer should be able to execute and adjust custom code programs as per the scan results of these tools.
• Experience in SAP Business Objects and SAP Workflow is desirable (although not mandatory).
