Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As an FDR, you will apply your expertise in intelligence policy, operational security, and foreign disclosure guidelines to support U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and allied efforts in a high-tempo environment.

  • Serve as the primary authority on the review and release of classified and unclassified intelligence in compliance with U.S. laws, policies, and regulations.

  • Analyze intelligence products to determine releasability to foreign entities and coalition partners.

  • Conduct thorough policy research using classified systems to support informed disclosure decisions.

  • Provide timely assessments and recommendations under high operational tempo (OPSTEMPO) conditions.

  • Maintain expert knowledge of the National Disclosure Policy (NDP) and track all decisions using appropriate Records of Action.

  • Coordinate closely with intelligence analysts and security professionals to ensure proper handling and secure transmission of sensitive information.

  • Mentor junior team members and promote cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Support CENTCOM s mission through familiarity with theater-specific regulations, procedures, and regional dynamics.

  • Be available to deploy and work extended hours as required by mission demands.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Associate degree OR four (4) years of direct, relevant experience in intelligence, security, or foreign disclosure.

  • Experience: At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in a Foreign Disclosure role.

  • Training Requirements:

    • Completion of DIA DIE FDO Course (Tampa)

    • Completion of USCENTCOM FDO training in accordance with USCENTCOM Regulation 380-5 PLUS

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure operational settings.

  • Prior experience as an Intelligence Analyst or Security Analyst.

  • Familiarity with the USCENTCOM area of operations.

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. Foreign Disclosure process, including legal and regulatory frameworks.

  • Detail-oriented, with proven ability to document and report decisions clearly and accurately.

  • Proficiency with classified systems and research tools used in the intelligence community.

  • Experience supporting military or interagency operations, particularly in OCONUS environments.

  • Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
