Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Missions
  • Research, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost and lead time criteria.
  • Negotiate purchase contracts in order to optimize conditions.
  • Follow market developments and new technologies.
  • Organize and supervise import operations
  • Master bank domiciliation and the regular transactions associated with it.
  • Prepare and verify the necessary customs and administrative documents.
  • Track shipments and keep customers informed of progress.
  • Plan and optimize transport flows in collaboration with carriers and logistics providers.
  • Negotiate rates and conditions with carriers and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and safety standards.
  • Manage customs declarations and ensure the compliance of files.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and adapt procedures accordingly.
  • Prepare and archive documents related to transit and transport operations
  • Ensure communication with customers, suppliers and customs authorities.
  • Manage complaints and incidents related to the transportation of goods.

  • Graduate training in logistics management or similar field.
  • Perfect command of Arabic, French and English.
  • Successful experience in similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High moral values.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • A talent for negotiation, in order to obtain the best rates.
  • Curiosity, responsiveness, endurance, autonomy.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and international transport regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer tools and logistics management software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
