Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Issues purchase orders to foreign vendors and suppliers.
  • Corresponds with foreign suppliers to get price offers.
  • Corresponds with foreign suppliers on delivery schedules and terms of payment
  • Notifies the designated department to effect insurance if required.
  • Liaises with freight forwarders who make freight and space bookings with airline or shipping companies.
  • Contacts senders to rectify shortages or to arrange replacement of damaged goods.
  • Maintains records of receipts and ensures that imported item has been delivered.
  • Communicates with foreign suppliers for any inquiries or complaints that may arise.
  • Undertakes clerical work such as filing, preparing correspondence and issuing weekly reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor degree in - Chemistry or Pharmaceutical sciences is preferred
  • Graduate of languages school is a must with high command of English literacy
  • Not less than 3 Years of Professional Experience in Foreign Purchasing in the Pharmaceutical industry ,Cosmetics or FM CG is a must.
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Giza Resident (Specially 6 October City)
  • Must have strong follow up skills.
  • Very Good computer skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
