Urgently required for a leading Engineering & Construction Company involved in Operation & Maintenance of Facility Management Industry in Saudi Arabia.

Main Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the Maintenance Foreman-Electrical-Low Voltage position is to oversee the maintenance and repair of low-voltage electrical systems (under 1000 Volts). This includes leading and supervising a team of technicians (average 10), troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems and conducting preventive maintenance.

Technical Expertise:

The Maintenance Foreman-Electrical-Low Voltage must have a strong understanding of electrical theory and practices and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. They must also be familiar with a variety of electrical tools and equipment.

Leadership and Communication Skills:

The Maintenance Foreman-Electrical-Low Voltage must be able to effectively lead and motivate a team of electricians (8 12 technicians), schedule their work, guide them and inspect their performed work. They must also be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills:

The Maintenance Foreman-Electrical-Low Voltage must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot faults and failures in low voltage electrical systems to quickly identify and solve electrical problems. They must also be able to make sound decisions under pressure.

Safety Awareness:

The Maintenance Foreman-Electrical-Low Voltage must be aware of the potential hazards associated with electrical work and take steps to mitigate those hazards.

Attention to Detail:

The Maintenance Foreman-Electrical-Low Voltage must be able to pay close attention to detail in order to ensure that electrical work is performed safely and correctly.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Foreman-Electrical-Low Voltage are:

-Supervising and directing the activities of a team of electricians

-Scheduling work and dispatching tasks to the field teams

-Ensuring that all electrical work is performed in a safe and efficient manner

-Maintaining records of all electrical work performed

-Inspecting electrical equipment and reporting any problems

-Troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems

-Coordinating with other departments, such as engineering and construction, to ensure that electrical work is integrated with other aspects of the project

-Resolving customer complaints

-Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

-Inspecting and testing electrical equipment to ensure that it is safe and operating correctly, including light fixtures, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and grounding systems

-Installing electrical devices such as light fixtures, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, dimmers, smoke detectors, and security cameras

-Inspecting wiring for faulty connections, shorts, or loose wires

-Determining the cause of electrical problems and recommending solutions to repair them.

-Supervising work crews in the installation, repair, or maintenance of electrical systems, including electrical wiring, conduits, transformers, lighting, switches, breakers, fuses, power lines, etc.

-Plan the installation or repair of electrical equipment, systems, or fixtures, using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position

3 year Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

What minimum experience is required for this position

-Minimum 8 years of experience in low-voltage electrical work

-With experience in supervising and managing a team of workers.

-Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
