Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and operational systems within the Sewage Treatment Plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment like pumps, motors, and aeration systems, identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate.
  • Supervise a team of technicians and operators, providing clear instructions, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Monitor and analyze plant performance data, including flow rates, chemical usage, and effluent quality, making necessary adjustments to optimize treatment processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a strong foundation for understanding complex systems.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sewage Treatment Plant, providing the practical knowledge necessary for the role.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, and operational aspects of wastewater treatment processes.
