Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of forest areas to identify and assess potential hazards, including fire risks, disease outbreaks, and illegal logging activities.
  • Enforce forestry regulations and environmental protection laws, issuing warnings or citations as necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor forest health, documenting and reporting on any signs of pests, diseases, or other threats to the ecosystem.
  • Participate in forest management planning, contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable forestry practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as a Certified Forester (CF) or equivalent.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in forestry or a related field, demonstrating practical knowledge.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of forestry regulations, forest management practices, and environmental protection principles.
