Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts, reporting any mechanical issues to ensure operational readiness and prevent accidents.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement to prevent damage.
- Transport materials to designated locations, adhering to warehouse layout and safety protocols, optimizing space utilization.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school, diploma or equivalent, demonstrating basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Valid forklift operator certification, proving competency in safe forklift operation.
Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment, indicating practical application of skills.
Experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry, showcasing industry-specific knowledge.
