Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maneuver heavy forklifts with precision to load, unload, and transport materials, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Securely stack and organize materials in warehouses or storage areas, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Operate forklifts in diverse environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Accurately record inventory movements and maintain detailed logs of materials handled throughout the shift.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation of basic education.
- Holds a valid forklift operator certification, showcasing the necessary skills and knowledge for safe operation.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting, proving practical expertise.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management procedures, optimizing material handling.
- Proficient in performing pre-shift inspections and identifying potential mechanical issues, maintaining equipment safety.
