Roles & Responsibilities

The Job Description (JD) for a Forklift Operator at Aquarius Worldwide FZE in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) focuses on technical precision and safety. Since the company operates in the marine and industrial sectors, the role often involves handling heavy or specialized cargo rather than just standard retail pallets. Key Responsibilities Material Handling: Loading and unloading industrial materials (steel, marine parts, or equipment) from trucks, containers, and trailers. Technical Operation: Safely operating 3-ton to 10-ton diesel or electric forklifts (specifically License No. 7 or No. 8). Equipment Maintenance: Conducting daily "pre-op" checks (oil levels, brakes, hydraulics) and reporting any mechanical issues to the workshop supervisor. Inventory Coordination: Assisting storekeepers with stock counts, verifying delivery notes, and ensuring materials are stacked in the correct warehouse zones. Safety Compliance: Adhering to UAE Health & Safety (HSE) standards and ensuring loads are secured and balanced before movement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirement Specification

License Valid UAE Forklift License (Heavy/No. 8 is often preferred).

Experience2–5 years of experience in UAE (industrial or marine yard experience is a plus).

Education High School Diploma or ITI / Technical Certificate.

Skills Basic English (reading/writing for logbooks), spatial awareness, and manual dexterity.PhysicalAbility to work in outdoor temperatures and lift up to 20kg manually if needed.
