YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, simulate, and verify FPGA logic using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog
• Integration of FPGA modules
• Collaborate with the hardware team to define interfaces and ensure signal integrity and performance
• Participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, and validation planning
• Optimize FPGA designs for resource usage, power consumption, and performance
• Interface with software and test engineers to ensure proper system integration
• Document design specifications, simulation reports, and validation results
• Support customer-specific adaptations and debug activities

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
• Experience in FPGA development and integration
• Strong proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog, and simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, QuestaSim)
• Experience with FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, Lattice Diamond)
• Familiarity with ECU architectures, automotive buses (CAN, LIN, FlexRay), and real-time systems
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262
• Experience with co-simulation or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems
• Background in System-on-Chip (SoC) integration or FPGA-based prototyping
• Knowledge of digital design principles, timing analysis, and hardware debugging
• Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and support PCB bring-up
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
