Roles & Responsibilities
A video editor and motion designer is required to create vertical short-form videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The role involves editing and animating content that aligns with provided examples, with a strong focus on fast pacing, catchy hooks, and loopable engagement. The videos will be produced for tech apps and software companies, requiring a style that is modern, snappy, and aligned with current social media trends. This is a remote, part-time contract position supporting the expansion of video creation services.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing and motion design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar)
- Understanding of short-form video trends and best practices for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to create fast-paced, engaging, and loopable content with strong hooks
- Experience in adding motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling
- Strong eye for timing, pacing, and visual rhythm
- Ability to follow provided style references while bringing creative input
- Remote availability for a part-time contract role
- Portfolio or examples of short-form video content previously created
