Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Formulation validation - Review each formula for ingredient compliance with GCC/GSO permitted lists, dosage adequacy against GCC maximum limits, safety, and absence of adverse interactions or overdosing risk.
  • Assess bioavailability optimisation, nutrient absorption, stability (oxidation, humidity, heat), and botanical-vitamin-mineral cross-interactions.
  • Confirm ingredient and dosage selection against peer-reviewed literature, clinical data, and applicable GCC, EFSA, and international health authority guidelines.
  • Deliver one complete scientific dossier per formula structured for GCC registration requirements: ingredient rationale, literature references, safety notes, contraindications, and dosage justification against GCC/GSO limits.
  • Produce a plain-English claims brief per formula using language compatible with GCC health claim frameworks (UAE/KSA).
  • Provide a technical file per formula for our manufacturer: specs, COA requirements, stability test needs, and label constraints aligned with GCC regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Nutrition Science, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in nutraceutical or food supplement formulation, ideally in women's hormonal health (endometriosis, PCOS, hormonal imbalance, PMS).
  • Working knowledge of GCC regulatory requirements for food supplements: permitted ingredient lists, maximum dosage limits (ESMA/GSO standards), and dossier format expectations for UAE and KSA registration.
  • Strong ability to analyse, synthesise, and reference scientific evidence with rigour and clarity.
  • Experience producing scientific dossiers or technical files intended for regulatory submission (GCC, EU, or equivalent).
  • Halal and clean-label compliance awareness is a plus.
  • Based in the UAE or GCC preferred; candidates based elsewhere with demonstrated GCC product registration experience also considered.
  • Fluent English.
