Key Responsibilities:

• Break exclusive stories on major real estate transactions, giga-projects, and infrastructure developments across the GCC, and the region at large.
• Produce in-depth features, executive interviews, and sector analysis with strong commercial and investment context.
• Develop and maintain senior-level sources across developers, sovereign entities, government authorities, contractors, and advisory firms.
• Track regulatory shifts, project pipelines, funding structures, capital flows, and market performance.
• Deliver forward-looking insight into how real estate and infrastructure shape economic growth and long-term regional competitiveness.
• Contribute to recurring sector briefings, special reports, and vertical newsletters.
• Collaborate with video and podcast teams to extend reporting into multimedia formats where relevant.

Requirements:

• Proven experience covering energy, sustainability, finance, or macroeconomic strategy at a reputable business publication.
• Strong understanding of regional capital flows, sovereign investment structures, and energy transition frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to produce authoritative, well-sourced journalism that resonates with executive and institutional audiences.
• Ability to translate complex policy, financial, and technical developments into clear, compelling analysis.
• Confident interviewing C-suite executives, policymakers, and senior investment professionals.
• Comfortable contributing to multimedia formats, including on-camera interviews or briefings where required.
