Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Context:

As part of the reorganization of our client's systems and infrastructure team, we are looking for an experienced freelance consultant to ensure the continuity of run and level 3 support on critical environments (backup, virtualization, storage, systems).

  • Ensure the daily operation of system, storage, virtualization and backup environments
  • Handling complex level 3 incidents and requests
  • Ensuring continuity of backups, restores and replications (Veeam)
  • Maintain and monitor Nutanix (AHV) and SAN/NAS infrastructures
  • Assurer l administration Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP
  • Manage patches via ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus
  • Update the technical documentation and formalize the missing procedures.
  • Transferring knowledge and supporting future administrators

Technical environment:

  • Virtualisation & stockage : Nutanix (AHV), SAN/NAS
  • Syst mes : Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Backup: Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Patch management: ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus
  • Annuaire & services : Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO

Desired Candidate Profile

Search profile:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in systems administration and hybrid infrastructures
  • Advanced skills across all listed technologies
  • Ability to ensure the operation, Level 3 support, analysis and resolution of complex incidents
  • Rigour in documentation and skills transfer
  • Perhaps autonomy, adaptability, immediate availability
