Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate shipments for domestic and international freight forwarding operations.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transportation carriers to schedule and track shipments, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Efficiently manage all BCO / Cargo Owner / Shipper / Consignee relationships and requirements.
- Liaise with onshore and offshore offices, agents, clients, carriers, airlines, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
Documentation Management:
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant regulations and accurately reflects shipment details.
- Monitor invoice quality and ensure these are in line with internal KPIs and customer quotations.
Customs Compliance:
Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate the smooth clearance of goods at international borders.
Freight Tracking and Reporting:
Utilize freight tracking systems and FRESA software to monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
Generate regular reports on shipment status, transit times, and delivery performance.
Vendor Coordination:
- Communicate with transportation carriers, freight agents, and other service providers to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure efficient and reliable services.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identify potential shipment issues and proactively work to resolve them to avoid disruptions.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to find solutions to operational challenges.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Customer Service:
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing shipment status updates.
- Collaborate with the customers to resolve any shipping-related issues promptly and professionally.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications /strong>
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience /strong>
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in freight forwarding operations for bachelor s degree holders, and 5 years for Diploma holders.
Functional/strong>
- Familiarity with freight forwarding processes, documentation, and customs regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple shipments effectively.
- Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
