Job Title: Sales Representative - French-Speaking (Sales Agent / SDR)
Summary
The French Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by actively identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities within the French-speaking markets. This role requires exceptional fluency in French, a strong understanding of sales methodologies, and a relentless drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. The agent acts as the primary link between marketing and sales, building a robust pipeline for the Account Executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively research, identify, and qualify new prospects and "dormant" customers using various outreach channels including cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and social selling.
- Sales Cycle Management: Engage with B2B prospects and decision-makers to understand their business needs, uncover pain points, and explore how the company's product/service can add value.
- Pipeline Development: Strategize and coordinate meetings, product demonstrations, and calls between qualified leads and Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition and maintain sales momentum.
- Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare, present, and negotiate sales offers, checking project feasibility and contributing to the execution of tender invitations or contract terms.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as an ambassador for the brand, building a relationship of trust with prospects and customers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client information in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience (CX), and Product teams to align on strategy and develop tailored solutions.
- Reporting & Strategy: Write detailed reports, analyze sales results, and adapt the sales approach and strategy accordingly with the support of management.
Qualifications
- Language Fluency:
- French: Native or near-native fluency is mandatory (C1 written and spoken).
- English: Fluent or professional working proficiency (B1/B2 level or higher) is required for internal communication, training, and working with international teams.
- Experience:
- Proven experience (typically 1+ year) in outbound lead generation, Sales Development (SDR), Business Development (BDR), or Inside Sales is a strong plus.
- Experience in a B2B, SaaS, or digital sales environment is highly valued.
- Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage naturally with C-level executives.
- Strong negotiation, observation, problem-solving, and consultative selling abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, persistent, and driven by achievement; fearless in making cold calls.
- Excellent rigor, organization, autonomy, and time management skills.
- Technical Proficiency (Bonus Points):
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot).
- Experience with sales engagement and automation tools (e.g., Lemlist, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
