HS Group is seeking a bright and detail-oriented Fresh Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team in New Cairo City. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their accounting career within a leading engineering consultancy. The Fresh Accountant will be responsible for assisting with daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance department in ensuring compliance and efficient financial management. This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship within a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Fresh Graduate (0 years of experience) or up to 1 year of relevant internship experience.
• Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization).
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or local accounting software) is a strong plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing and recording financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain organized and comprehensive financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of routine financial reports, schedules, and summaries as required.
• Learn to extract and compile financial data for analysis by senior accountants and management.
• Assist with filing, archiving, and retrieving financial documents.
• Actively participate in training programs and seek opportunities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices.
