Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality fried chicken according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Monitor food inventory and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on proper frying techniques and kitchen protocols.
- Develop and test new fried chicken recipes to enhance menu offerings.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all fried chicken dishes.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to optimize workflow and minimize food waste.
- Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and make adjustments to improve food quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on fried chicken or similar cuisine.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
