Roles & Responsibilities

A leading higher education institution committed to innovation, digital transformation, and excellence in student and administrative services are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer.


� Position Overview

This role involves designing and developing interactive university dashboards, analytics tools, and UI components while contributing to blockchain-related digital credentialing projects.
The candidate must be strong in front-end technologies, data visualization, and have basic understanding of blockchain.

This is a 6-month temporary role with a high likelihood of becoming permanent.

� Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, modern dashboards for academic, student, and administrative departments.
  • Work closely with Institutional Research, IT, and Academic units to understand reporting needs.
  • Integrate front-end dashboards with APIs, SIS, LMS, and other university systems.
  • Support blockchain initiatives for secure data verification and digital certificates.
  • Build engaging UI/UX interfaces using best design practices.
  • Use data visualization tools (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js, PowerBI embedding).
  • Ensure optimal web performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Debug, test, optimize, and document code regularly.
  • Follow university technical standards and collaborate within a cross-functional environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of professional front-end development experience.
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.js / Vue.js / Angular.
  • Proven experience with dashboard creation and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with blockchain concepts (Web3 basics, digital credentialing).
  • Ability to integrate front-end applications with backend APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

� Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in higher education systems
  • Knowledge of blockchain-based education solutions.
  • Experience with cloud services and Git version control.
