Roles & Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Handle room assignments, billing inquiries, and guest requests efficiently and accurately.
- Provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Respond to guest concerns and service recovery situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information.
- Promote resort services and upsell room upgrades or packages when appropriate.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
- Ensure qualitative Forbes Five Star standards are delivered.
- Follow all operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Support VIP arrivals and special requests with personalized attention.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience in front office or guest services preferred, ideally in a luxury setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- May involve standing for extended periods and occasional handling of guest luggage or amenities.
- Prior experience and training with Forbes Travel Guide standards.
