Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
To lead Performance Management within the Factory, responsible for all costs and controlling the financial health of the Factory.
To Business Partner the Factory Manager, operations & management teams to take timely, strategic and value maximizing decisions.
To manage a broad set of complex financial & management accounting financials, within a challenging operational & business environment.
To initiate and support the development and implementation of projects to drive cost competitiveness and drive efficiency.
To bring energy, motivation and challenge to the factory teams in order to grow whilst achieving both personal and business goals.
To play a key role streamlining, improving and simplifying ways of working & processes within the finance team and broader business.
To play a key role in the finance community within the Supply Chain Team, working with teams and sharing best practices./p>
Performance Management
Drive performance of the site based on actionable insights to improve cost competitiveness & efficiency.
Responsible for site in-year financial performance (cost/waste/Capex), site forecasts and partnering site leadership team.
Partner big value projects on site (support big capex proposals/transformation project delivery)
Where needed, leverage logistics, procurement and USCC category SC to drive performance beyond site boundaries (e.g. in-sourcing, material savings, distribution cost reduction etc).
World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
WCM program is need to capture WCM learnings that help landing additional savings.
Business Planning
Partner the Leadership team to set a robust 3 year financial framework aligned to the category strategy. Bring his country to category benchmark.
Forecast the annual business plan and monthly forecast, together with the site leadership team, to deliver improvements in cost competitiveness and improved efficiency.
Set stretching targets and lay out the framework and resources to achieve significant savings.
CAPEX & Inventory (CAPEX €, Return on Assets)
Manage All Fixed assets responsibilities.
Ensure, with MET support, appropriate control for CAPEX investment.
Overheads & Business Waste
Driving reduction in business waste material waste, obsoletes, quality defects.
Management of site restructuring budgets & accounting, in conjunction with thebr> Financial controls (Financial controls scorecard, Capital WIP)
Ensure adequate financial controls are in place and operational in line with Unilever standards.
Ensure brilliant basics of budget management and control are operating.
Participate in the monthly closing.
Review the materials prices, and insure it is accurately landing to the right COGS.
What You Need To Succeed

Preferred SAP experience.
Languages: English
Professional qualifications:
A degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA etc) is preferred.
