Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistently high-quality teaching aligned with the National Curriculum for England
- Lead the FS2 team in planning, assessment, moderation, and curriculum delivery
- Use data and assessment tools effectively to drive progress and improve outcomes
- Support and mentor teachers within the year group, fostering a collaborative and reflective team culture
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all pupils
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, building strong partnerships
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and support the senior leadership team
- Ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning across the year group
- Support behaviour for learning and wellbeing strategies aligned with school policy
Requirements:
- Bacheloru2019s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or PGCE with QTS
- Minimum of 3 yearsu2019 experience teaching in a primary setting (UK curriculum preferred)
- Previous experience in a middle leadership role or readiness to step into leadership
- In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and sound pedagogical practice
- Proven impact on pupil progress and achievement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- ADEK approval or eligibility is an advantage
