Roles & Responsibilities
Role Purpose
Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire FTK Senior Site Engineer, specializing in GSM Tower Construction is tasked with overseeing the design, construction, and inspection of tower foundations and associated structures. This role is critical in ensuring that the towers are built safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications, providing reliable mobile network coverage.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret construction plans and specifications for GSM tower foundations and associated structures.
- Perform site inspections throughout the construction process, verifying compliance with plans and Zain specifications.
- Ensure that contractors conduct soil testing and analysis to determine foundation requirements.
- Collaborate with contractor s consultant on foundation design and ensure proper load-bearing capacity.
- Prepare and review construction documents related to civil engineering aspects of the project.
- Work with contractors to resolve any construction issues related to the civil engineering scope.
- Manage and inspect the construction of foundations, including concrete pours and anchor bolt installations.
- Ensure proper backfilling and compaction of foundation soils.
- Maintain clear and accurate construction documentation, including daily reports and inspection logs, layout, and as-built documents.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards during construction.
- Stay up to date on relevant building codes and industry standards for telecommunication tower construction.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering from an accredited University
Qualifications:
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in civil engineering construction, with a focus on foundations or telecommunication infrastructure preferred.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation engineering principles.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar civil engineering design software.
- Covering Area (Baghdad, Anbar, Diyala and Kut)
