Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall architecture for scalable Java-based platforms and microservices.
• Lead API ecosystem strategy including governance, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Architect and manage API gateway implementations using platforms such as Kong.
• Establish security frameworks covering authentication, authorization, encryption, and RBAC.
• Design and oversee high-integrity financial and transactional systems with auditability.
• Drive relational data architecture ensuring 3NF normalization and high-performance queries.
• Define frontend architecture patterns for scalable portals using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Lead integrations with external and regulatory systems
• Implement observability strategies including monitoring, logging, tracing, and SLAs.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and architecture governance.

Technical Skill Requirements

• Deep expertise in Java architecture (Spring Boot, REST, microservices, event-driven design).
• Strong experience designing high-concurrency, distributed systems.
• Advanced SQL skills with strong relational modeling and performance tuning expertise.
• Proven experience building financial, billing, or wallet platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, AES-256 encryption).
• Experience configuring API gateways with traffic shaping and security policies.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Frontend architecture experience with React, Angular, or Vue for complex dashboards.
• Strong understanding of observability and monitoring tools.
• Expertise in architecture best practices including DDD, resilience, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Strong architectural mindset with hands-on engineering capability
• Experience working on mission-critical or regulated platforms
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills
