Functional Technical Consultant for the Odoo System

The Odoo Functional Technical Consultant is responsible for analyzing business needs and designing and implementing integrated solutions within the Odoo system. These solutions combine functional and technical aspects to improve operational processes and enhance performance efficiency within the company. The consultant acts as a liaison between users, various departments, and the technical team to ensure that requirements are understood and translated into effective, practical, and technical solutions. They also oversee the implementation of necessary modifications and upgrades, ensuring the system aligns with business objectives.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Analyzing business needs and requirements and understanding operational and administrative processes within the company

Designing and customizing Odoo solutions to suit the needs of different departments

Preparing functional and technical documentation for projects and developments

Coordination with technical teams to implement the required modifications and upgrades within the system

Develop or revise software customizations within Odoo as needed

Managing and implementing integrations between Odoo and other systems using APIs

Testing solutions and ensuring system quality and efficiency before launch

Providing technical and functional support to users and addressing operational and technical issues.

Training users on how to use the system and new processes

Participating in the implementation of ERP projects and improving operational procedures within the company

Monitoring system updates and suggesting appropriate improvements and developments

Preparing reports and analyzing data to support decision-making and improve performance

Requirements and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or any related field

Practical experience with Odoo or ERP systems

Strong knowledge of operational processes such as human resources, finance, procurement, and inventory

Good experience in the technical aspects of Odoo, including Python, PostgreSQL, and APIs.

The ability to analyze requirements and transform them into practical and technical solutions

Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with different departments and clients.

The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Proficiency in spoken and written English

Preferably:

Experience in implementing complete ERP projects

Knowledge of server administration, Linux, and Git

Specialized certifications for Odoo or ERP
