Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute detailed test cases based on functional specifications to ensure software meets business requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application features and identify potential areas of risk.
  • Utilize automation tools where applicable to enhance testing efficiency while maintaining thorough manual testing practices.
  • Document and track defects effectively using a bug tracking system, ensuring clear communication of issues to the development team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in software principles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in functional testing, demonstrating a proven track record in software quality assurance.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE, showcasing a commitment to professional excellence in testing methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile environments, highlighting adaptability and collaboration in fast-paced development cycles.
