Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
About the Venture - We are developing an institutional‑grade real estate property tokenization and fractional ownership investment platform headquartered in the UAE, inspired by leading digital real estate investment models in Dubai and globally. Our mission is to provide qualified investors with compliant access to curated, income‑generating real estate opportunities through a seamless, technology‑enabled investment experience. At this stage, our primary objective is to secure a pre‑seed / early‑stage equity round to accelerate product development, regulatory engagement and initial market launch.
We are seeking a highly capable Freelance Fundraising Consultant with experience in early‑stage capital raising to support our leadership team in planning, structuring and executing an international fundraising process. The consultant will focus on investment narrative, fundraising strategy, investor materials and outreach coordination; legal, regulatory and technical execution will be handled by specialized partners.
Key Responsibilities -
Investment Narrative & Positioning
Refine and articulate a compelling investment thesis, including problem statement, solution, market opportunity, and competitive positioning at a global level.
Benchmark the platform against existing real estate investment and tokenization players and clearly define differentiation, target segments and value creation levers.
Investor Materials & Data Room Light
Lead the creation and refinement of:
Investor pitch deck and teaser
One‑pager / executive summary
High‑level business plan and financial model (revenue drivers, unit economics, scenario analysis)
Investor FAQ and standard responses to common objections.
Advise on a “fit‑for‑stage” light data room structure (market analysis, product overview, financial model, founder profiles, roadmap).
Fundraising Strategy & Investor Targeting
Define a clear fundraising strategy, including round size, instrument (equity, SAFE, convertible), use of proceeds and high‑level valuation rationale.
Build and qualify a target list of investors (angels, family offices, early‑stage VCs, proptech / fintech / Web3 funds, strategic real estate partners) in the GCC, Europe, and other key jurisdictions.
Segment investors and adapt messaging to their mandates and risk profiles.
Outreach, Pipeline Management & Founder Coaching
Develop outreach templates and a structured follow‑up cadence to ensure systematic engagement and pipeline tracking.
Support the founders in preparation for investor meetings (storyline, metrics, Q&A, handling of objections, next‑step management).
Provide feedback after meetings and continuously refine positioning based on investor feedback.
Deal Support (Commercial Terms Only)
Provide high‑level guidance on commercial terms (target ownership to be sold, broad valuation ranges, investor rights expectations at this stage).
Support negotiation strategy and closing tactics to ensure alignment between the founders and lead investors.
Desired Candidate Profile
3–7 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
Startup/scale‑up fundraising advisory or venture development
Investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
Early‑stage VC, family office, or angel investing
Business development / corporate development in fintech, proptech or investment platforms.
Proven track record in supporting at least one successful early‑stage fundraising round (pre‑seed, seed or Series A), preferably for a technology or financial services venture.
Strong understanding of how institutional and sophisticated investors evaluate early‑stage opportunities: market sizing, traction indicators, unit economics and risk/return profile.
International exposure and comfort working with globally distributed investors and stakeholders.
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Holds relevant certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or other financial designations.
Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably within the real estate or blockchain industries.
Exhibits a deep understanding of real estate markets, investment vehicles, and tokenization technology.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Outstanding pitch‑deck and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear and persuasive narratives.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to work with founders to build credible, assumption‑driven financial models.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in coaching founders for investor pitches and roadshows.
Familiarity with real estate investment, proptech, crowdfunding, tokenization or Web3 / RWA is a strong plus, but deep technical expertise is not mandatory.
Self‑driven, structured and highly professional, with the ability to work independently and deliver to tight timelines.
