Position Overview
As an FX and Rates Trader, you will join FAB s G10 FX and Rates trading desk within the Global Markets division. Your core responsibility will be managing trading risk across multiple products including FX Spot, FX Forwards, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Cross-Currency Swaps (XCCY), Basis Swaps, and Cash Treasuries. The role demands exceptional market-making capabilities and pricing proficiency to support customer flows, expand product coverage, and contribute to FAB s macro trading strategies.

What You ll Do

* Trade a range of G10 FX and Interest Rate products, managing risk positions and ensuring adherence to stop loss and VaR limits
* Collaborate closely with Sales to price customer transactions, provide market commentary, and support relationship development
* Analyze macroeconomic trends and implement directional strategies to drive alpha and hit revenue targets
* Leverage client flows to enhance desk performance while remaining compliant with regulatory and internal controls
* Work with quants to refine pricing models, curves, and tools; help ensure front-office systems meet best practice standards
* Participate in client calls and meetings to build confidence in FAB s trading capabilities and improve counterparty relationships
* Monitor curve behavior, pricing accuracy, and P&L drivers across multiple rate instruments
* Identify and support new product development opportunities and improve process automation

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Finance or related discipline (Master s preferred)
* 3+ years experience in global FX and Rates trading, ideally on a G10 desk
* Deep understanding of derivatives including IRS, Basis Swaps, Futures, and FX Forwards
* Proficiency with Murex or similar trading platforms
* Solid grasp of pricing mechanics and valuation of FX and interest rate products
* Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including VBA for model development
* Proven ability to manage trading risk effectively and maintain profitable trading books
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders confidently
