Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Missions :
- Management of the marketing of foreign exchange and interest rate products for the client
- Working closely with the Foreign Exchange Desk / Currency Desk / Finance Desk to identify buying, selling/investment, and borrowing opportunities with clients
- Conducting prospecting visits to clients within or outside the network
- Conduct relationship-building visits with direct access to the Trading Room
- Providing training to the corporate network and trading floor clients
- Analyze the evolution of customer activity and performance in the Access Room
- To ensure sales promotion in collaboration with the Corporate network
- Manage and closely monitor the Oil & Gas Desk and the Green Corridor Export project
- Preparation of sales support materials (terms sheets, marketing brochures and presentations)
- Daily sending of market quotes and information to clients
- Daily drafting of a market information note and transmission to the Department's clients
- Monitoring developments in the foreign exchange market, financial markets and potentially structured products
- Receives customer orders and updates the foreign exchange desk's position
- Informs clients about the execution of their orders
- Negotiate the exceptional conditions for market interventions with the agreement of the hierarchical manager.
- Ensure that the advice provided to clients complies with standardized guidelines
- Prepare periodic reports and submit them to the line manager.
- Prepare local and periodic group reports
- Ensure strict adherence to the mandates and the code of conduct
- Monitoring the implementation of the code of conduct initiatives
- To be the point of contact with the IRB Hub regarding Sales Reporting
Professional and/or technical skills:
- Possessing a strong business sense
- Perfect knowledge of local and international markets
- Knowledge of foreign exchange products and instruments
- Extensive knowledge in macroeconomic, financial and monetary fields
- Mastering the principles and operating processes of the foreign exchange market
- Mastering the upstream and downstream processes of operations handled by the Department
- Having a dual technical and sales profile
- Possessing excellent communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of international trade operations
- Mastering the regulations related to market activities (Bank of Algeria, COSOB, commercial code)
Desired Candidate Profile
- Responsible for sales promotion at the level of the trading floors
- Ensure coordination between the trading floor and the Corporate Banking network on market operations
- To market all foreign exchange products designed by Capital Market
- Prospect and maintain a readable customer portfolio for March operations
- Develop a sales strategy aligned with the trading floor objectives.
- Managing the various projects of the room in collaboration with Corporate Banking
- Participate in business development to achieve financial objectives
- Participating in the development of new products and new approaches
- Ensure budget monitoring for the Sales desk
- Respect the internal rules and those of the group that govern market activities.
