Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Perform daily care, maintenance, and watering of indoor and outdoor plants in both office and villa premises.
2. Monitor plant health regularly and apply appropriate treatments including fertilizers, pesticides, and plant medicines to prevent and treat diseases and pests.
3. Conduct routine pruning, trimming, and shaping of plants, shrubs, and trees to maintain a neat and attractive appearance.
4. Manage soil preparation, planting, mulching, and replanting activities as needed.
5. Maintain cleanliness of garden areas, including removal of weeds, fallen leaves, and debris.
6. Inspect irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution and perform minor repairs or adjustments, as necessary.
7. Identify and report any issues related to plant health, landscaping, or pest infestations promptly.
8. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to gardening activities.
9. Maintain inventory of gardening supplies, tools, and plant medicines; request replenishments as required.
10. Provide recommendations for seasonal planting, plant replacement, and landscape enhancement.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role, preferably in premium residential and commercial facilities.
2. In-depth knowledge of plant species suitable for indoor and outdoor environments, especially in a desert climate such as Dubai’s.
3. Strong understanding of plant diseases, pest control, fertilizers, and medicinal treatments.
4. Ability to identify and manage soil types, irrigation needs, and plant nutrition.
5. Skilled in using gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
6. Attention to detail with a strong sense of aesthetics.
7. Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
8. Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in gardening.
9. Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
