Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create and adjust paper patterns as needed.

  • Lay out fabrics efficiently to minimize waste.

  • Supervise cutting team members (if applicable) and ensure quality standards are met.

  • Inspect cut pieces for accuracy, defects, and consistency before handing over to stitching.

  • Work closely with the design and production team to meet deadlines.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cutting section.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years of proven experience as a Cutting Master / Master Cutter in a garment manufacturing or tailoring workshop

  • Strong expertise in manual cutting, pattern making, and fabric handling.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.

  • Handle different types of fabrics (cotton, polyester, blends, etc.) used in uniforms and workwear.

  • Prepare and cut fabric according to patterns, measurements, and design specifications for bulk and custom orders.

  • Able to take measurement of different type of apparels i.e trouser/pant, polo tshirt/shirt, coat, ladies long dress, pinafore etc.
