Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an embedded GCP expert within the client s IT team, guiding architecture, deployment, and optimization of GCP solutions
  • Assess existing infrastructure, applications, and workloads and define the migration or modernization approach
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable GCP architectures aligned with business needs
  • Lead infrastructure automation and CI/CD implementations using GCP-native tools
  • Support teams with best practices on networking, security, IAM, data services, and cost optimization in GCP
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and upskilling of client team members through workshops and documentation
  • Collaborate with Google Cloud and third-party service providers as needed
  • Act as a technical escalation point and provide troubleshooting expertise across cloud environments

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 11+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or solution architecture
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute, GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, identity management, and monitoring in cloud environments
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • GCP certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) is strongly preferred
