About Gems Modern Academy

GEMS Modern Academy is a Dubai-based private school established on 18 October 1986, operating as part of the GEMS Education group. The school is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to deliver the IB Diploma Programme, authorization granted in 2014, and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), authorization granted in 2021. In August 2021, the school received IB candidacy status for the Middle Years Programme (MYP), making it an IB World School offering multiple IB pathway options. The PYP is delivered from KG through Grade 5, covering students aged 3 to 12, structured around six transdisciplinary themes and a cross-disciplinary skills framework.
