Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

  • Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements as required.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Review and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocations and financial reporting.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in general accounting or a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing financial documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a large organization or group structure is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
