Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Prepare financial statements and management reports

  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation

  • Monitor expenses and assist in budget preparation

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records

  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies

  • Assist in implementing and improving accounting procedures and internal controls

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or other relevant certification (preferred)

  • 3+ years of accounting experience

  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting

  • Knowledge of local tax regulations
