Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled General Accountant to join our team in Nasr City, Cairo. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in financial reporting, ERP systems (preferably Odoo), and a solid background in accounting standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and review daily journal entries to ensure accuracy of transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Review and prepare monthly & yearly Trial Balance.
  • Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Provide periodic financial reports to management.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial analysis reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a General Accountant.
  • Strong hands-on experience in ERP Systems (preferably Odoo ERP).
  • Solid knowledge of preparing financial statements and trial balances.
  • Good understanding of local tax regulations and accounting procedures.
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
