Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare assets, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

  • Document financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Summarize financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups and following internal controls.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial legal requirements by studying legislation and advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial information and trends.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and protect company operations.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to team efforts and perform additional duties as required by management.
