General Accountant Lychee

Reporting to Finance Manager Egypt & KSA We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage the full cycle of accounting operations for our business in KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with Saudi financial regulations, and supporting management with timely reports and insights. This role requires strong technical knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. What will you be doing? • Handle full bookkeeping activities, including recording daily transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collection follow-ups. • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances. • Oversee payroll entries, benefits calculations, and ensure accurate posting in the accounting system. • Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to policies. • Prepare VAT filings and ZATCA compliance reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission. • Support year-end closing activities and coordinate with external auditors during audits. • Manage fixed assets register, depreciation schedules, and asset disposals. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support management decision-making. • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring all files and reports are updated and audit-ready. • Implement and improve internal controls, ensuring proper financial governance and risk management
