We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. The role involves handling journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system (journal entries, ledgers, etc.).

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.

Handle accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely billing, collections, and payments.

Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow and bank transactions.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Prepare VAT returns and support tax filings in compliance with local laws.

Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.

Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal departments for financial data and support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3 5 years of experience in a general accounting role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Knowledge of tax laws, VAT, and local financial regulations is preferred.
