Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant who will also support office management and administrative tasks. The role is fully on-site and requires a hands-on professional who can manage day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring smooth office operations in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain environment.


  Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance
  • Record, review, and maintain daily accounting transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Issue invoices, track collections, and follow up on outstanding payments.

  • Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and general ledger accounts.

  • Support payroll preparation and coordination with external accountants when needed.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings and audits.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Office Management & Administration
  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure a well-organized work environment.

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor coordination.

  • Support HR-related administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, employee files, and onboarding documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers.

  • Handle general administrative duties, including correspondence, scheduling, and document management.

  • Support management with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a General Accountant; experience in logistics or supply chain is a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Odoo and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle both accounting and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to work on-site in Heliopolis / Sheraton.
