Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive land surveys for construction and development projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and technology, including GPS, total stations, and GIS software, to collect and analyze spatial data.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and documentation for use in project planning and execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide precise measurements and boundary information.
- Verify and establish property boundaries, easements, and land features in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and record changes in land conditions, topography, and site features throughout the project
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a land surveyor in the construction or real estate sector.
- Expertise in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, and digital levels.
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles, mapping, and geospatial data analysis.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, site plans, and legal land documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation.
- Proficient in relevant software applications such as AutoCAD, GIS, and surveying data management tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with local laws, regulations, and standards governing land surveying and construction.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to varying field conditions as required.
