Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review, analyze, and post journal entries for various transactions.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts and ensure timely adjustments.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support business operations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate ledger data.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Experience as a GL Accountant in the cosmeceutical or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
