Job Description – General Manager (Building Materials )

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee our Building Materials Division, which includes Reinforcement Steel, Concrete Blocks, and Ready-Mix Concrete operations. The role requires strong leadership, extensive technical and commercial expertise, and the ability to drive operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational direction across Reinforcement, Block Manufacturing, and Ready-Mix operations.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
• Ensure operational efficiency, high-quality production, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring of all units.
• Strengthen customer relationships and expand market presence through proactive business development.
• Oversee supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production, logistics, and quality assurance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team across all divisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Report to the CEO/Board on business performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.
