Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead all day-to-day operations of the bakery and retail outlet, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to brand standards.
Assume full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to drive revenue and manage costs effectively.
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, including bakers, baristas, and retail staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
Uphold the highest standards of product quality, presentation, and consistency, from production to point of sale.
Implement and maintain rigorous health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Develop and execute local marketing and sales strategies to increase footfall, build customer loyalty, and enhance brand presence.
Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure optimal stock levels and cost-efficiency.
Oversee visual merchandising and the overall retail environment to create an inviting and premium customer experience.
Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a General Manager or senior management role within the premium bakery, caf , or food retail industry.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrable experience in P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
- A deep understanding of food and beverage operations, quality control, and industry best practices.
- A customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering an outstanding service experience.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Previous experience working in the Middle East is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant plus.
